TOWSON, MD – To celebrate the in-store arrival of the critically acclaimed Castrol Honda Superbike World Champions, today Intense Entertainment Interactive and Honda North America announced plans for a nationwide sweepstakes, offering consumers a chance to win a Honda 1100CC CBR Motorcycle.

From May 15^th through June 30^th, 1998, anyone can enter to win the Grand Prize Honda Motorcycle, 1^ST Prize, one of five genuine Castrol Honda Race Team Leather Jackets, or 2^ND Prize, one of 100 Castrol Honda Superbike World Champions T-shirts, at national computer retail stores or through Intense Entertainment Interactive’s website at http://www.intense-games.com.

Winners will be randomly drawn on July 1^st 1998. On July 11^th, 1998 the Grand Prize winner will be flown to the Laguna-Seca World Circuit Superbike Race, in Laguna Beach, California and presented with the keys to their new Honda 1100CC CBR Motorcycle by Colin Edwards, world champion superbike racer for the Castrol Honda Race Team.

Officially licensed and developed with technical assistance from Honda North America and the World Champion Castrol Honda racing team, Castrol Honda Superbike World Champions is a blistering racing simulation that allows gamers to race the 1997 Superbike Champion Honda RC45 on actual championship race courses around the world. Intense Entertainment Interactive is publishing the game, which was developed by the United Kingdom’s Interactive Entertainment.

Castrol Honda Superbike World Champions is the first true motorcycle racing simulation ever created for the PC. Interactive Entertainment’s access to Honda’s technical data guarantees unsurpassed realism, delivering an authentic driving experience in one of the world’s elite racing machines.

Castrol Honda Superbike World Champions will be available May 15, 1998, on CD-ROM for Windows ’95, through software retailers. This new game is 3DFX enhanced, allowing players seamless 3D movement in realistic environments. The suggested retail price is $49.95.
